Nava’s subsidiary, Maamba Energy Limited (MEL) spearheads the operation of Zambia’s most extensive coal mine. MEL not only supplies thermal grade coal to its power plant but also delivers high-grade coal to esteemed industrial consumers across the country.

Our current coal mining endeavours in Maamba, Zambia, unfold across 1,600 hectares within our expansive 8,174-hectare concessionaire. Boasting significantly large reserves totalling 168 million metric tons, the mine stands as a testament to our relentless commitment to resource abundance and sustainability.

We have established a state-of-the-art coal handling unit equipped with modern machinery for the meticulous washing, handling, and processing of coal.
