Our Factories in India

We have two coal-fired plants in Paloncha, Telangana - one rated at 150MW and the other at 114MW. Another coal-fired 150MW plant is in Kharagprasad, Odisha.

Two more plants operate from Andhra Pradesh, one in Dharmavaram and the other in Samalkot. These two plants, rated at 20MW and 9MW respectively, use bagasse, a non-fossil fuel - a sign of Nava Limited’s commitment to environmental concerns and a clean future.

Zambia

Project

We successfully replicated our Indian business in thermal power internationally. We now operate a 300MW power plant that generates and supplies power to Zambia’s national utility under a long-term power purchase agreement. It is also Zambia’s first thermal power unit.

Our coal-fired power plant in Zambia is a testament to our experience - not only is it a successful international venture, but the plant itself - at 300MW - is a nationally significant power source in Zambia, and serves as a base load plant for the country’s national grid. It’s also equipped to grow - with infrastructure (water and transmission lines, coal supply systems etc) having been built for expansion.
